This October, The Citadel becomes the stage for a Halloween celebration unlike any other as Nu Deco Ensemble welcomes world-renowned multi-instrumentalist Munir Hossn. Famed for his dynamic fusion of global rhythms and virtuosic artistry, Hossn joins the orchestra to conjure a night of supernatural sound and spectacle.
The program delivers plenty of thrills, from Mussorgsky’s ominous Night on Bald Mountain and John Carpenter’s legendary Halloween theme to Nu Deco’s daring reimagination of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Adding to the excitement are Paul Dooley’s exhilarating Velocity Festivals and bold takes on other Halloween favorites—creating a concert that is equal parts eerie, mysterious, and irresistibly fun.
