Third Wave of Food Concepts Announced!
Just when you thought our collection of flavors couldn’t get any better, plot twist: they have. When selecting our eateries, we could’ve easily imported culinary talent from other cities but why do that when Miami’s heavy-hitters give them a run for their taste buds? Joining the ranks next to Myumi‘s sushi, Cake Thai, Stanzione 87 pizza, Threefold Cafe‘s Smashing Avos, Bianco Gelato, and Antonio Bachour’s desserts and chocolates are some of Miami’s best and freshest seafood, a refreshing juice purveyor, and arguably the city’s best tacos.
Let’s start with the tacos because, let’s face it, every meal should. The masters behind the local and national favorite Taquiza on Miami Beach will be taking The Citadel’s Mexican knowledge to the highest caliber. With their signature blue corn tacos, handmade tortillas, suckling meats and crackling grilled corn, Chef Steve Santana is bringing his love for homegrown flavor to our food hall this fall.
As Miami starts to ride the health food train, so will The Citadel, boasting some fresh goods by GreenG Juice Bar. Start off your morning with an array of fresh pressed juices like their popular Miami Life or Total Fit among others. They’ll also have a selection of homemade nut milks, sweet bowls showered in nutritional toppings like bee pollen and goji berries, smoothies, and healthy alternatives for desserts and on-the-go meals.
Finally, we top off the list of new announcements with the crowd-favorite, The River Seafood Oyster Bar, serving the perfect kind of fresh-out-of-the-sea catches all day and night. They’re slated to offer a flavorful crudo bar with classic items like poke, shrimp, and of course, oysters. But the guys at River Oyster have mastered the tropical fusion into crowd-pleaser dishes like coconut steamed mussels and bacalao croquetas.
Whatever your favorite food may be, get ready for something delicious coming to Little River in just a few months. Stay tuned for more updates on eateries, and even our retail brands coming soon on The Citadel. Read a full write up on the announcement at Miami New Times here.
